Neighborhood/Area Meetings

WCNA board meeting - The Tuesday before the WCNA general meeting (see below) at 6pm at Wellspring Interfaith Social Services (1316 Broadway) unless otherwise noted. Remaining 2009 dates are: July 14, August 11, September 15, October 13, November 10, and December 15.

WCNA general meeting - Third Monday of the month at 7pm at Wellspring Interfaith Social Services (1316 Broadway) unless otherwise noted. Remaining 2009 dates are: July 20, August 17, September 21, October 19, November 16, and December 21(location subject to change).

WCNA Plan Committee meeting - Second Monday of the month.

WCNA House & Garden Tour Committee meeting - Fourth Tuesday of each month.

Southwest Area Partnership (SWAP) meeting - Wednesday, July 15 at 7pm at Bethany Lutheran Church (2435 Engle Rd.).

West Central Neighborhood Garage Sale - Saturday, June 27. Put your wares out for sale for this neighborhood-wide event. If you're not selling, take a walk and check out the deals.

Historic West Main Farmers Market - Each Friday until October 23 from 3pm to 8pm at 1936 W. Main Street. The market features local farmers, artists, and fine antique dealers. For more information, contact Chris Shatto, Market Master, at 515-9700 or cashatto@aol.com.

South Side Farmers Market - Open every Saturday from now until November 21 from 7am to 1 pm at 3300 Warsaw Street. The market features produce, fruit, honey, eggs, chicken, some organic produce, herbs, bulbs, plants, cut flowers as well as books, collectibles, clothing, and other items. There is also a lunch-counter that serves breakfast and more. Located 1 block east of Lafayette Blvd, 1 block north of Oxford, just west of Weisser Park. Barr Street Market - On Saturdays beginning July 11 through September from 8am to noon at the corner of Wayne and Barr Streets (302 East Berry Street).
