REPORTS

·                     Minutes from meeting of  June 2008, accepted and approved

·                     Treasurer’s Report:  accepted and approved

·                     Membership:  no report

 

PERSENTATIONS

·                     Scott Greider

o       made presentation on behalf of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in reference to becoming a partner with the West Central Neighborhood Association to improve residential area #3 in the West Central Neighborhood.

o       Scott presented a form entitled “Memorandum of Understanding” which would be drafted to establish the partnership

o       Goal is to access CHDo funds available to the West Central Neighborhood CHDO and to pass through to Emmanuel Lutheran Church to provide funds to improve the selected area

o       M. Walsh made motion to support request, S. Miranda seconded, motion passed

·                     Cherise Fortriede

o       Cherise Fortriede presented information on the new zoning regulations the City wishes to institute

o       Ms. Fortriede provided a map of the downtown area and the relevant areas to be rezoned

 

OLD BUSINESS

·                     1220 Stophlet

o       Board decided to oppose the OTD for 1220 Stophlet.  Motion made, seconded, and passed

 

NEW BUSINESS

·                     Jill Downs

o       Jill has agreed to be the webmaster to update and maintain the WCNA website

 

Due to time constraints, the Board Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
