REPORTS

·                     Minutes from meeting of  February 2009 accepted and approved

·                     Treasurer’s Report:  accepted and approved

·                     Membership: 19 Seniors, 45 individuals, 6 organizations, 9 businesses

o       Discussion on changing household structure – decision was to keep structure the same and perhaps raise business memberships next year

·                     House Tour – grant not possible

o       DID possible replacement for grant

o       Good turnout at first House Tour meeting

 

OLD BUSINESS

 

·                     Email newsletter – weekly distribution – use the City website for information

·                     Emmanual – CHDO membership passed to J. Urbahns/H. Presley

·                     T-Shirts – Diane Groenert will do – need minimum run of 6 – sign up ahead of time

·                     LHD

o       Meeting set for April 21, 2009, at Firehouse – 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

o       Inform media

·                     Keyboard for Chris – Chris now has a keyboard

·                     Traffic Study

o       Parks Department will stripe Thieme Drive to delineate greenway from road

·                     Canterbury Project – Julia Goldstein (student) will attend next general meeting to discuss the project and work on specifics.

·                     Get Green Festival - Firehouse

o       4 live bands – Club Soda to provide some food

o       David will get info and send email

·                     Charis House – project has been put on delay to work on plans to modify

·                     Demo notices – are being received

 

 

NEW BUSINESS

o       Chris provided a five-year retrospective for review
