§         Minutes:  February 2010 Board meeting minutes  – entered and accepted

 

§         Treasurers:  February Reports - entered and accepted

o        Balance Sheet as of 2/28/10

o        Profit & Loss Statement: February 2010

 

§         Membership: No report

§         Plan Committee

o        Reviewed Plan Committee March report –

§         Emmanuel Lutheran Church expansion – discussed historic guidelines; the church will have a speaker at our March association meeting

 

§         Tour Committee

o        Next month scheduled on March 23, at 7 p.m. location will be ‘Dash In’ on Calhoun Street

o        Ongoing Arts Fest location discussion

 

 

EXISTING BUSINESS

·         CHDO Projects

 

o        825 W. Washington Blvd. (possible project)

§         Set time for Board to walk-through; 1 p.m. Tuesday 3/16/10

 

o        1134 Nelson Street

§         Currently processing developer fee.

§         New countertop has been installed; work 99% completed.

 

·         Zoning Issues

o        Henry’s Restaurant – approved by BZA

o        802 W. Washington Blvd.  – approved by BZA

 

·         Understand Boards interaction and involvement with our Committees.

o        Continued discussion

o        Motion to have Susan act as Chairperson for the Plan Committee through July 1st and then up for re-consideration; motion made by David Long and 2nd by Cherie Starks, voted & approved

 

 

·         1000 Broadway - Broadway Corridor & St. John buildings

 

·         1400 Martin Street

 

NEW BUSINESS

 

·         Great American Clean Up – May 15

o        David Long to submit registration paperwork and also eligible for gloves and material

·         Receivership Program – description overview

·         ARTS UNITED seeking Grant Panelist Nominations – if aware of anyone with Arts or Education background may want to inform them of opportunity.

·         Outstanding Expenses must be turned in for 2009 now – submit any to Chris.

·         QuickBooks Software

o        WCNA needs to update by 5/31 date;

o        Chris to review non-profit offering by Quick Book.

·         Board Mini retreat

o        Fund Raisers Opportunities discussed

§         Windows of WC Calendar (doors, doorknobs, porches, gardens… of WC)

§         Pens with WCNA logo, website & number

·          New CEO of St. Joe Hospital will be a speaker at our April general association meeting.
