OLD BUSINESS

§                     Emmanuel Lutheran Church

·         No meeting in 2009 to date

·         WCNA CHDO is simply a “pass through” for funds with no ties to financial issues

·         Will need to hire consultants to formulate plan for Area 3

·         Emmanuel will pay and then be reimbursed

·         City will give money to WCNA – CHDO and then will be reimbursed to Emmanuel

·         No RFP has been done yet

§                  1234 Nelson St.

·         Deal fell through, so WCNA still owns the home

§                     CHDO

·         According to the City, we are set up as we should be

·         Recommendation was made to separate the CHDO activities from the regular West Central Board

·         A different committee would be established to deal only with the CHDO projects

·         Could have an executive director to work on funding because we need to have someone focus on the (C)(3) aspect

OTHER

·                     Great American Cleanup

o       Coming up in May – will need to complete application

·                     Parking Issues

o       Parking on Union was mentioned as an issue

o       Carol will look into regulations – in particular on Union

·                     Tour

o       No reason to have 100% profit

o       The tour needs more sponsors – should try to include more business properties

o       Discussion was held as to paying for odds and ends (balloons, plants, etc.) and suggestion was made that perhaps some sponsors could be found to contribute smaller amounts than normal sponsorship fee – this would help offset cost of materials and items needed in conjunction to the tour

ANNOUNCEMENTS

·                     None

ADJOURNMENT

·                     Motion to adjourn was made,  seconded, and passed

Respectfully submitted
